The 'E' word

"How long do you think it will last ?"
He smiled, genuinely with a twinkle in his eye and said, "Eternity".

e·ter·ni·ty/iˈtərnitē/Noun

1. Infinite or unending time.
2. A state to which time has no application; timelessness.

The Doors are jammed.

Diseased again , in the middle of May,
Almost threateningly fatal.
Dormant dimmed brain of mine, apt and inviting prey,
Been demented since awful April!

Earnestly eager to get healed,
I've enacted the preposterous tribal dance to the write(right) gods and appealed.
They unmistakably ignored my pleas,
and my mind still remains stuck, stagnant ,in a frigid freeze.

Changed my workspace to the garden,
To suck in the fresh air, clear my brain and brighten.
Result: Chewed half a pencil,
retarded alien patterns in the muck, and a weak wasted writers' will.

Countless imaginary "stories" with no beginnings,
Right Brain-dead till late evenings.
Waiting on this blasted writers' block to clear soon,
Hopefully, the rains should clean the slates, in Judicious June.

Hide and Seek

It might have been a red herring,
but my aqueous, black nose was acutely correct.
On the lawn, over the fence,I heard them sparring.
The neurons in my small brain made the connect and I began to introspect.

Their gibberish dialect made no sense,
but my discerning eyes studied what detectives discounted.
Thick in excitement , my adrenaline was pumping up the suspense.
I knew just where to look ,below the sofa, just underneath the sheets folded.

Launching my nose into the pile,
I smelt extensively,rummaging for a while.
I needed to crack this case,
The last dying chance for a snack, and of course.. saving grace.
Been taunted corpulent,insipid and indolent,
I had become increasingly depressed and grievant.

The lights dimmed,the music halted,
There it was ,glistening its buttons on the spongy leather throne.*the drum roll sounded*

The cruel intransigent TV remote,
Phew! It payed off even though it spoilt my shiny coat.
Proud as a peacock, I shook my tail,:)
Bought back the kill to the sparring siblings,
Thus, giving them the opportunity to watch the adventures of ducktails,
and My big bowl of pedigree awaiting :)

Midnight blues

Wriggling the small toes in the sand,
She lay stoic on the neutral mellow shore.
The sea was at peace, unlike her life, tangled and unplanned,
The waves soiling her feet in salty foam, watching as the seagulls and halcyon soar.

She envied the vast moonlit sea,
How he remains calm after all the chaos.
After all the turmoil,he stays unfazed..the beauty,
Forgiving,forgotten and silent.

The harmonious waves cajoled.
The seagulls conspired.
The moonlight flooded.
The breeze taunted.

"How long Should I wait,
To get to that realm of that peaceful state".
Gazing at the adorned black,
Only silence answered back.

She sprung to her feet,
flung her bag,her glasses, her fears.... her worries.
Darted towards the anxious sea , ready to greet .
The benumbing waters awakened her soul.

How are you holding up?

To all the questions I haven't answered. This is how I am.

I hate to see you cry
Lying there in that position
There's things you need to hear
So turn off your tears and listen

Pain throws your heart to the ground
Love turns the whole thing around
No, it won't all go the way it should
But I know the heart of life is good

You know it's nothing new
Bad news never had good timing
Then the circle of your friends
Will defend the silver lining

Pain throws your heart to the ground
Love turns the whole thing around
No, it won't all go the way it should
But I know the heart of life is good

(Whistle Interlude)

Pain throws your heart to the ground
Love turns the whole thing around
Fear is a friend who's misunderstood
But I know the heart of life is good

I know it's good

You own it

Let it consume you,
the joy, strong willed ambition.
the compulsive contagious aggression.

To be possessed by such a force is sinister,
It requires all the courage in your will, you can muster.

Try it all,
break it down into all ideas small.

Obsessed about untangling all the knots,
It has to be perfect...has to be like how you imagined it in your thoughts.

Let the idea possess you now,
Don't give up,they are waiting for you to take a bow.

Let the image of the nagging idea be etched in your brain,
submit yourself in,let it drive you insane!

Re :

The answers aren't obvious,
the questions make it worse.
To keep mum or confess,
it's not very sure.

Let the sand pour down into the hourglass,
Let the clutter of clouds scatter,
Waiting for the confusion to surpass .
Perfect it and not falter.
